East Anglian Sailing Trust (EAST)
The East Anglian Sailing Trust (EAST) is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Regional Centre of Excellence, providing regular, accessible sailing for adults and children with disabilities, and for blind and visually impaired adults. The volunteer-run charity has a fleet of 10 stable keelboats for disabled sailors sailing from wheelchair accessible pontoons and a modern Waterside Centre with a well- equipped workshop, training suite and a galley providing drinks and refreshments.

Suffolk Yacht Harbour’s (SYH) modern workshop offers repairs and renovation work on classic and contemporary sail yachts and motor boats using the latest in marine technology.
Lead by Managing Director Joshua Major, the workshop team at SYH has over fifty years’ experience working with classic and GRP boats. Whether it is a minor repair or a full refit, SYH offers project management services throughout.
As well as modern workshops and a 130ft long spray and preparation bay, a custom joinery and machine shop is onsite for the design and build of specialist woodwork and shipwright components.
The state-of-the-art workshop area includes specialist flash-proof and eco-friendly LED lighting, as well as heating, extraction and ventilation with full climate control.
