From admin, to boatbuilding, boat moving and retail, SYH has a variety of departments that all work together to help the site run smoothly and deliver a high level of customer service. Marine Coating Technician & Paint Sprayer: full time
Working in the SYH spray shop as part of a team
Preparation of vessels including filling & fairing, sanding & masking
Experience in spray application of various coatings including primers and two part topcoats is required
Experience of Awlgrip and Coppercoat products beneficial

SYH is a thriving marina, which offers a ‘one stop shop’ of marine services and facilities to berth holders and visitors. As an independently owned business founded by local families, SYH has retained its welcoming, friendly feel throughout its long history.

Located on the River Orwell at Levington, the marina is two miles from the A14 between Felixstowe and Ipswich and is accessible by sea all states of the tide.
The marina has berthing for yachts up to 21.3m (70 feet) with a maximum draft of 2.5m (8.2 feet).
With hoists able to lift up to 75tonnes, Suffolk Yacht Harbour (SYH) offers the largest boat lifting and launching facilities between Bridlington in Yorkshire and the Solent on the south coast.

Opening Hours
The SYH berthing office and chandlery are open from 8.00am to 5.30pm, 7 days a week, except for the Christmas and New Year bank holidays.
