The East Coast's leading marina 

The marina has a capacity of 550, high quality, fully serviced berths - including 50 new 'big boat' positions for yachts up to 60ft long and a maximum draft of 2.5 metres. Additionally, there are approximately 50 swinging moorings adjacent to the Harbour in the River Orwell.

VHF frequency / Approach details

Suffolk Yacht Harbour operates on VHF Channel 80. When arriving from the south or the west, approach is via a RW striped safe water buoy 400m due south of the harbour entrance. Proceed via a 2.5m (mlws) dredged channel marked by port and starboard hand fixed posts. Call for berthing instructions or proceed to the visitor's berth ahead and slightly east of the entrance.

Waiting List

Suffolk Yacht Harbour currently has a waiting list for permanent pontoon berths. Swinging moorings maybe available at shorter notice.The length of the list varies with the size of craft applying. Call the office on 01473 659465 for current information. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please complete an application form and send it to us
