Dredging will continue throughout the winter until the end of March, with the team working 12 hour days  They are currently working inside the harbour entrance. B jetty has been removed to enable deep dredging of that area. They will then continue along the inner channel, diverting into some of the bays as necessary.

The material dredged from the harbour will be returned over the seawall to replenish the foreshore – an environmentally beneficial solution!
