Suffolk Yacht Harbour has a full, environment controlled sprayshop which can paint vessels up to 55' loa.
Our methods and practices are approved by Blakes, International and Awlgrip and the finishes we achieve are of the highest possible standard - be it topsides or superstructures. We will be happy to provide a quotation for giving your yacht or motor cruiser that 'brand new' look.
Osmosis - the blistering and decomposition of the gelcoat, allowing water penetration into the GRP hull structure - continues to plague GRP vessels below the waterline, particularly as they get older. Suffolk Yacht Harbour has many years experience in the complete elimination of this problem by thorough gelcoat peeling, shot-blasting, careful drying and final finishing with a hard, impenetrable coat of epoxy resin. The treatment is guaranteed for 5 years and approved by West System.

Our boatyard specialises in the replacement and repair of all 'engineered' items - propellors, stern gear, seacocks, anodes, rudder bearings, keel bolts, seacocks, steering gear, gas installations etc.
Marine inboard engines are supplied, installed and repaired by our affiliated company on site, French Marine Motors.
