East Anglian Sea School

 Strata 6 at sea

East Anglian Sea School has set the standard for training excellence on the East Coast for over 40 years.

Founded in 1973, as a small family business then called East Anglian School of Sailing, it has grown into one of the foremost Royal Yachting Association (RYA) sea schools in the country. Still owned by the second generation of the same family, the school has been around for as long as the RYA training scheme.

As well as being an RYA training centre we are recognised by the Marine Coastguard Agency (MCA) and the International Sailing Association Federation (ISAF).

We teach both shorebased and practical courses, whether you're into yachting, motor boating, dinghies or powerboating – we have the course for you! We have a fleet of highly equipped, well-maintained yachts, motor and powerboats and not forgetting superb home-cooked catering afloat.

One of our strengths that is increasingly popular is Own Boat Tuition: we can teach you whatever you need to know in the comfort of your own boat.

Our success is shown through our increasing student numbers year on year. We provide all RYA/MSA courses from complete beginner to Commercial Yachtmaster, including racing in the RORC Fastnet and Atlantic Rally for Cruisers - or hop on a delivery trip with us for some mile building.
