Suffolk Yacht Harbour has completed its modern new amenities ready for the summer season. The spacious building was designed by Hadleigh-based architects Wincer Kievenaar and constructed by local builder Malcom Algar and his team at BRC, who executed the work to a very impressive standard. Finished to the highest specification the new shower block and amenities are amongst the most exclusive marina facilities in the UK.
Whether you're a keen racer or a social sailor, SYH's annual Classic Regatta welcomes boats of all abilities across fast, slow and Stella classes. Taking place on 17th - 18th June, the regatta weekend comprises two days’ coastal racing in Dovercourt Bay, Harwich Harbour, and the Orwell and Stour estuaries.
This year’s Saturday night regatta party promises to be a lively and sociable affair. Post-racing drinks will be served on board the LV87 lightship, followed by supper, live music and a bar, with all entertainment taking place onboard the lightship. Tickets for supper are available either on the day from the Club Steward at HPYC or by prior booking on 01473 659658.
